after a lot of thought, my sister and i decided that this will be our last month renting a booth space at Raising Hope Collective.
for the past two months, we had the opportunity to share a space together. my business, The Painted Soul, filled our booth with acrylic paintings, cyanotype prints, stickers, and all the little pieces of art i’ve poured my heart into. my sister’s business, Inner Soul Alignment, brought beautiful handmade jewelry, crystals, candles, and spiritual goods that made our space feel complete.🔮🪬✨
even though we were only there for a short time, it was such a fun and meaningful experience. we got to work alongside so many talented vendors, many of whom became our coworkers and friends. creating content together, sharing ideas, meeting new faces, and being surrounded by so much creativity reminded us why we love making art in the first place.
having our own space and the freedom to make it our own was something really special. it inspired us to dream bigger, think outside the box, and start planning what’s next. we’re currently working on a few exciting things, and we’ll definitely keep you updated wherever this journey takes us. 👯‍♀️💞
thank you to Raising Hope Collective for giving us a place to grow. and thank you to every single person who stopped by our booth, supported us, shared our work, or simply took the time to look around. your support truly meant everything to us. 🥹
our booth has officially been cleared out, so we won’t be part of the grand opening, but this isn’t goodbye. you can still shop our work through instagram and depop, and we’re always open for commissions or any custom work, so feel free to message us if you’re interested.

‼️Trigger Warning Poetry ‼️:

Just a woman and her favorite teal blue razor blade
The years pass but the pains intensifies
One day I’m going to cut too deep
That’s when i know I want to be here
I fear the day my cuts run deep and there’s no turning back time
I’m scared to close my eyes without saying my goodbyes
Just a woman and her favorite teal blue razor blade
What a haughtily beautiful color it is

I call the number 988
Amber picks up the phone
Her voice is steady and stern but you can hear the compassion behind her tone
She asks me what is wrong
I feel a burning lump on my throat I want to scream everything
She hears my no response, muffled sobs coming from the other line
She knows too well what that means
We stay on the line for seventeen minutes
That’s how much time it took her to convince me of all the reasons I should stay
Seventeen minutes
Amber thank you for your time

Sometimes we survived things that should’ve broken our souls. We shouldn’t be too harsh on ourselves with the way we coped. I truly believe I did the best I could and I’m still trying too. I’m tired some days but I rather feel the weight of it all than not be here with the people I love doing the things I enjoy. Nobody else gets to take advantage of me. ☾ I am beyond thankful and grateful to Dalila and @raisinghopecollective for allowing my sister (@thepaintedsoul333 ) and me to become a part of their community.

☾ Thank you for believing in our products, our vision, and for trusting us to join the family. @raisinghopecollective is such a fitting name for the community Dalila is creating on Main St. In her shop, you can find many local vendors, including her own products. She willingly opens the door for people from many different walks of life, creating a unique, homey, and diverse collection of products ranging from clothing, art, crystals and more.

☾ Imperial Valley, my spirit guides, thank you for always placing me in the right rooms with the right people to help bring my dreams and ideas into my 3D reality. My sister and I have been working consistently behind the scenes for a few years, trying to build our businesses. Not many people see the late late nights, early 3–4 a.m. mornings, and moments of doubt that we go through.

☾ I thank the universe every day for constantly inspiring us, placing the right people on our path, and allowing us to slowly but surely reap the rewards of the seeds we planted many years ago. Our dreams are forever evolving, just like our souls.

I hear her echoes in the gust of winds passing through the lemon trees.
I see her lovely silhouette in my garden along the pomgrate trees.
She humbly accepts my offerings.
She visits me often.
I feel her in the yellow butterflies twirling around me, the hummingbirds singing to me, and the birds dancing above me.
I am never alone, my mother is always walking with me.
She knows me — as I know her. Since the day I inhale my first breath, she has blessed me in this life.
Everyone can feel the connection, warm, love pouring out from my mother’s bleeding heart but only a handful will sing and dance along side my mother. Only a handful will remember who their mother truly is.

I had sm fun working with @wariosworld he is an amazing photography and he knows how to capture connection, moments, and realness in between. 📸✨

Sometimes people show up in our lives to blow the rainy and stormy clouds away. They feel like the sun- warm and encompassing. That is Angel and Jesse, they are my sun. I always tell them we’re siblings by fate but friends by choice. 🫂♾️✨ The universe has a sense of humor, a year ago I was asking for a more loving & balance relationship with my siblings and we’re still not perfect. But I can say every prayer/conversation is heard & answered and every relationship requires work. by @_isaaabelaguilera
