To be young, black, and gifted👩🏽‍🎓

On May 2 at 2 PM, I will proudly graduate with honors, earning my degree in Social Work from Jackson State University💙.

A milestone that reflects years of dedication, resilience, and purpose. This achievement is more than just a degree; it’s a stepping stone into a calling rooted in advocacy, compassion, and change.

As I step into my next journey as a young black social worker, I carry with me a deep commitment to uplifting and empowering my community. This fall, I will continue that mission by beginning my graduate program, further preparing myself to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of others.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and poured into me along this journey, this moment is as much yours as it is mine.
