GOD, WE DID THAT!!!

I remember April 2019 when I started applying for tsu school of nursing, many said “don’t do it, they don’t care about their students, many fail”, despite all those I told myself I am not many I am Shawna and I will pass every single course in this program no matter how hard I have to go. Class started with 16 students by the end of first semester only 8 moved on, all 8 had to retake a class, to make it even worst the professor class that we all failed, she became the director for the program, after see that those comments people were telling me began to float around again, I started regretting I chose to stay knowing I was surrounded by program leaders who did not want to see my classmates and I earn this degree. That didn’t stop me I continued second semester I passed all course with flying colors, but guess how many moved on from that? Only 5 students left entering senior year, shortly after 1 student failed leaving only 4. The many times that I had to stand up for myself in this program I do not wish on any student. Passed my ati exit exam with a 98% chance of passing NCLEX last week with minimal help from people who are hired into position “to help”.

To my 3 other classmates, we made it final 4, I’m proud of every single one of y’all, no matter how many times we argue with each other we always came together when necessary, I wish you all the best as you start your nursing career, and remember if we did anything through out this program WE FOUGHT FOR THIS DEGREE.
