Neither a lab coat nor a tape measure this week. Just a name tag, a pink suit, and a room full of people shaping where capital flows next. I spent UNGA week in New York for the MSM Frontier Capital gathering, and it’s hard to overstate the energy. 16 heads of state were in the same space as top investors and leaders across banking and finance, all having the conversations that usually happen behind closed doors. UNGA puts the world’s agenda on the table. Events like MSM are where that agenda meets the people with the capital to act on it. Being in those rooms reminded me that careers aren’t built in single lanes. The scientist in me took notes, the designer in me took in the room, and the founder in me asked a lot of questions. Grateful to have shared space with the Mayor of New York, the Chairman, the God Father of entrepreneurship and colleagues I’m still learning from. Today is my birthday, and for the first time in a while, I get to celebrate it in a dress I made with my own hands. But before anything else, this post is for YOU. To the ones who found TelaPink years ago and never let go. To the clients who kept reaching out even during the two years I stepped away to finish school, when there were barely any posts and barely any sign of what was happening behind the scenes, you stayed anyway. You trusted the brand even when I had nothing new to show you, and that means more to me than I’ve ever said out loud. TelaPink started in 2017 with one simple belief: Clothing should fit the person, not force the person to fit the clothing. That belief hasn’t changed. What has changed is how much I’ve grown. I’m back. I’m building again. And I’m doing it with the same hands that once sketched ideas and turned pieces of fabric into something beautiful. So today isn’t just my birthday. It’s a thank-you to everyone who has been part of this journey. And it’s the beginning of a new chapter. TelaPink is back. New designs. New pieces. A new season. The same heart behind every stitch.
