NOVEMBER ~> DECEMBER 2024
Right before holiday season kicks off its BIRTHDAYS ON BIRTHDAYS!

1- Soul twin turned 30 and we celebrated in styleee : casino night!
2- my tay tay also turned 30 and we danced the night away at the infamous@paularaifordsdisco ! 🪩
3- Momma turned 65 and we got to celebrate just us two 💗
4- this og high school gang reunited!
5- casino night party bus shenanigans
6- Fam back in town so naturally we get together for some bbq and the best shop.. #thebbqshopmemphis
7/8/9- @billystrings came to show out for two nights at the @fedexforum so we showed up, and had a good time! by @_itsgbg

end of SEPTEMBER through OCTOBER 2024
anddd she’s back!!

1-4 - Mempho Fest weekend!! Live music?? I’m there!
5- lunch get togethers with fam on a gorgeous Fall day
6- always a good time with my bro at his old stomping grounds @railgarten .. lee enjoys the vibes too
7/8/9- A halloween party for the books thanks to the @emilytabahdaniele and @philly.the4th !
10- some festive pumpkin carving that took HOURS 😅

2024 recap pt 2.
Giving MAY the recognition it deserves!!

1- first year kicking off Riverbeats Festival- jane and I got to catch a show together again! Seems like a lifetime ago since we were bouncing around music festivals
2- @odesza !!! The limit does not exist for how many of their shows I will make a point to see. Iconic!
3- reuniting with these beautiful friends to celebrate @andyhuggz and @alexhuggz ♥️ LOVE you all!
4- my core ladies! We wrapped up andy’s wedding weekend getting silly on the beach. It was everything and so much more! Take me back, honestly
5- really got to take time for myself in 30A and the universe made me recognize!
6- Introduced babe to WSMFP! Introducing him to more and more jam bands. He’s warming up to the scene ;)
7- the og Horseshoe lake squad catching night two of Panic! More reunions in the future please and thank you!
8/9/10- “MORE!” panic ! A decade of memories going to these shows and every night brings me joy!

Let’s do a lil recap of some 2024 moments, shall we!?!
JANUARY-APRIL

1- nye w/ a crewww
2- go cart shenanigans
3- meeting my niece, Emmaline, for the first time! It’s been such a special year seeing @janielynn_bennett and @matthewjamesbennett95 become the most amazing parents 🥹 (round 2 this year ! )
4- drag brunch celebrating @madilewis16 ! And the first of many 30th bday celebrations!
5- cancer survivors park days: but the main thing being @emilytabahdaniele and @philly.the4th officially called memphis their home again! THANK THE LORD!! Long distance no more 🙏🏻
6- Turned 28 and my people threw me a hell of a surprise party… which naturally I was late to 🙃 they love me anyways. We sang karaoke all night and it was everything my soul needed!
7- the sister’s that made it happen ♥️ gosh I love them
8- road trip to Nash bc I HAD to celebrate with my girl @rilezzz_ … she’s still crying about not meeting @yunggravy with us. Iykyk
9- a reunion with my Eddins brothers to commemorate the life of a great dad/friend- Teddins was smiling down on this moment
10- happiest together: till the end of time by @_itsgbg

2024
I survived.
Truly, I feel like i died and lived to tell about it. Probably the best way I can put it.
I look back on the year and I’m honestly proud of myself for seeking happiness even when I didn’t feel it most days.
I have a love/hate relationship with the years that break me down and challenge me so much.. like, “thank you universe for reminding me that I am so strong and can overcome anything ! Also.. f**k you, that was brutal!”
Ya know what I’m saying?!
Pretty much where I stand. 😂

The gems of my year??
1. Jake and I making a house into our cozy home- a true journey!
2. Lotsss of shows- live music grounded me amidst all the chaos. Even tho I was unable to travel, looking back I visited 6 venues seeing 14 artists around Memphis and danced my ass off with the best peeps!
3. Celebrating my people- births/birthdays/weddings!! Honestly, I really wish i could hold onto some moments a little longer.
4. The universe guiding me back to my passion!
5. A whole lot of rest and cuddles with my fur babies
6. A hell of a support system
7. Lastly, regaining my strength and confidence after feeling so defeated. Blessed to be taking on this year back in good health!!

2025, is all about LIVING instead of simply SURVIVING!

this is what two weeks post surgery looks like :)

Pathology came back to tell me good news, “benign.”
Drain was removed a week ago- you don’t truly understand that struggle until you have to shower with that leash. Good riddance! My “battle” scar is finally healing properly. And this was week one of getting back to moving my body like normal, still have a ways to go but I’m just happy to be showing up for myself!

Happy Birthday to my 𝕊𝕆𝕌𝕃 𝕋𝕎𝕀ℕ @alyson.berliner !! The universe knew exactly what it was doing when we became besties 13 years ago. You are my ride or die, and we truly never know how to have a bad time together… hence why we decided to live together (finally) ! Each year gets better and better and im so excited to see what the last year of this decade (for you) has in store. Let’s live it up! I love you so so much sister- now let’s celebrate in true aly and ging fashion!
