I could go on and on about how truly life-changing this past week was for me, but I’m going to leave it to showing gratitude...

• Thank you to all new and old friends for including me, embracing who I am, and rubbing off your infectious energy onto me.
• Thank you to my boyfriend for bringing me to my first forest, and for loving me loud and proud and unconditionally, and for being there for me during some pretty tough times in the last 6 months.
• Thank you to all the artists for bringing music to the forest that inspires us and gives us space to dance like no one is watching.
• Thank you to all the workers for being the backbone of this festival and allowing it to happen.
• Thank you to the forest for welcoming me with open arms and giving me a home away from home. I’m already counting the days till I get to experience the magic again.

@levity.music you were our bonding topic that started our first conversation… we then went to the wintrust show together a few weeks later, and I literally fell in love at that very show. AND I got to meet John at the afters… thank you guys for bringing us together and spreading so much love 🫶 we’ll see you in the forest ;)

taking a moment to appreciate the work i’m doing and life i’m living ❤️‍🔥
feel like i’m in a big transformative period right now and it’s super overwhelming and anxiety ridden at times and sometimes feels like i’m not actually doing anything- but i’ve been making changes, working towards goals, paying off debt, and living my manifestations ✨one day at a time✨ enjoying the life i’ve created for myself while also working towards the life i desire and ~know~ i will achieve. by @_izzybradley

heyy so quick lil spiel ….

In August 2021, I went and saw Illenium at Breakaway Grand Rapids but I didn’t even know what I was experiencing at the time! I listened to Illenium in college and I knew I loved the music and remember loving the concert but I didn’t even know what EDM was. Not until the end of 2023 did I start to learn about EDM and I made a goal Jan 1. 2024 to start going to more shows and seeing what the scene has to offer… and lemme tell ya… it changed my life.

Almost 5 years later, I got to go see Illenium again, wearing the same jersey I got in 2021, at the Sphere, and I get to say that EDM has changed my life. People say it all the time and you either get it or you don’t, but if you get the chance to understand it… it’s truly life changing.
•
The community makes you remember we are all human and without love and without each other, we are nothing. This music has brought me the most important people in my life and some of the best memories I will cherish forever… including this one!
•
In Feb 2025, me and @nina.wojtowicz ended up on a trip to Lake Tahoe to see John Summit together as our first ever time truly hanging out and it led into a friendship I am so thankful to have.
