POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today is a brilliant day! We made it to the finals for a film photography award for Indentured at @waterfordfilmfest Ireland!
Now for the fun part: I get to brag on a few people!

@ollll_dop and @lukejflowers the beauty you captured for this project is absolutely a gift, and your skill set is beyond measure. You captured the essence of this project and portrayed it beautifully through the colors, camera work, and quality. The power of the lens speaks without words. To @jbrfilms for helping create the mood and assisting on set with lighting and whatever else was needed!

And to my two incredible actors, @bexlou0fficial and @_jack_roper_ , your talent in even a two-minute trailer is phenomenal. The emotion you feel when you watch it is palpable. These pictures are overwhelmingly emotional. Well done!

And thank you, Jack, for working so hard behind the scenes to get everything lined up while we were thousands of miles away; this wouldn’t have happened without your help!

Well done, team! THANK YOU @waterfordfilmfest by @_jack_roper_

in the stories it’s all easy. Boy meets girl, they fall madly in love and they live happily ever after. But this isn’t a story. It’s real.

The Cycle

An incredible short film I had the honour of being part of with a very important message.

Thanks to @gydonovan for casting me and being brilliant!

You can find the link to view it on the @cjalliance page.

Help us break the cycle. Learn more at www.criminaljusticealliance.org.uk.

#breakthecycle

This film is part of a collection of 10 short films created by the CJA and its members in collaboration with Media Trust, supported by Crucible Foundation. Learn more at www.criminaljusticealliance.org.uk/MTF

The Criminal Justice Alliance (CJA) advocates for a fair and effective justice system. Its insights come from its members: over 200 non-profit organisations and academics with expertise across the UK justice system. The CJA co-produces evidence-led policy briefings and reports with members to influence change; and it connects practitioners, academics, the media, people with lived experience, and policy makers from across the justice system to hold the government and other institutions to account. In 2022, the CJA founded an innovative lived experience leadership programme, ELEVATE CJS, aimed at promoting the redistribution of power to people directly impacted by the criminal justice system.
