Some people say every 7 year cycle, all the cells in your body are eventually replaced, so physically you’re not the same person you were 7 years ago. Maybe the sentiment is meant to be about growth but I’ve always really hated it. The truth is you are born with every neuron you will ever have. And even though you will definitely lose some (like a lot, it’s ok though), the important ones are with you for life. You are the same you for all the years you live and you aren’t some 7 year clone version that has no tie with your younger self. (Also your muscle cells don’t follow this rule either so honestly the whole concept is wrong)
Hopefully the next time I edit this I’ve hit some checkpoints of a goal (who knows). But I like to keep this up to remind myself it gets better!! And then sometimes it gets worse and then it gets better again and then you just keep going from there taken in The 50's by @_jadebrick_
