“She’ll Be Right”
by Jade Hill

Sculpture - Cement, wood, steel
26.5 x 25 x 16cm

A self-portrait inspired by the work of Eduardo Paolozzi. This work strong, rough and weighty, contradicting the representation of fragility in the distortion of myself; my mind, my ego. Sharing space to the hidden self while showing no matter the state of being one must stand strong and continue down their path.

These photos taken just before sealing and staining, however, in the mad dash of it all forgot to take finished photos.

This piece was sold at her exhibition GREEN @ledagallery__ ✨

I’m a bit late posting about this piece!! But I am super grateful to have had the chance to be apart of this exhibition @lionstudiosframing 🌼✨💫

“A universe within”

Is a mindscape that has its roots in art as a form of therapy. Creating art for me is a connection with my inner world; my thoughts, emotions and feelings. This piece comments on the way we choose to present ourselves, which parts of our soul we are willing to sacrifice to the world at any given time.

She is available to purchase @lionstudiosframing until tomorrow afternoon before she returns home to me! If you are interested get in quick because once she’s home I just might decide to keep her🥰

✨Oh what a night!✨

🎨 The artworks are in, and they’re spectacular!

Earlier this year, our followers voted for ten artists to each receive a 90×120 cm canvas — and now, their finished artworks have been revealed at Lion Studios Framing’s Large Format Exhibition.

✨ The exhibition showcases ten original, one-of-a-kind statement pieces — each bold, expressive, and created by a talented local artist right here in Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley.

If you’ve got a blank wall in your home, office, or Airbnb — or you’re simply tired of generic decorator prints — this is your chance to own an authentic, original artwork that tells a story and supports local creativity.

🖼️ All artworks are available for purchase.
You can keep them as-is, or while you’re in the studio, we can help you custom frame your new piece with a float frame to perfectly suit your space and style.

📍 Lion Studios Framing
Unit 7, 19 Shearwater Drive, Taylors Beach
🕤 Open Monday to Friday, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
📅 Exhibition runs until 31 October

Don’t miss your chance to view — and own — one of these incredible large-format originals.
A true celebration of artistic talent, creativity, and community.

A reminder to grow with the seasons not against them🌼

I welcome each new season with open arms for I am ready to evolve and grow, be reminded of the beauty in the present🌞 but as the seasons pass I must shed with them for growth cannot continue while I live in the past.

So as the flowers bloom this spring I welcome a new chapter🌸🌱💛✨🌈🌙
