2025 🤍🥂🌍✈️
So grateful to say that 2025 was truly the best year of our lives. From celebrating our nephew’s 1st birthday, to unforgettable hens and bucks weekends with our incredible friends, and the most beautiful wedding where there truly wasn’t a dry eye in sight, all shared with our nearest and dearest. We spent much of the year travelling the world on our six month honeymoon, visiting 23 countries, creating thousands of memories, and ticking off countless bucket list experiences. We even came home a few days early to surprise my Grandy for his 90th birthday. We finished the year with our hearts even fuller, welcoming new members to the gang thanks to Taylah & Reece with handsome Oliver, and Sarah & David with darling twins Xavier & Channing 🩵 #2025 by @_jaharrison

Highlights of Japan 🇯🇵, Thailand 🇹🇭 & Vietnam 🇻🇳

Tokyo felt like coming full circle. After starting our trip in Japan, it was so special to return months later and see how far we’d come. Wandering Shibuya, Shinjuku and Harajuku, living off 7/11, vending machines, claw machines, okonomiyaki, egg sandos and getting that step count right back up.

Bangkok hit us with the humidity straight away 😆 Wet season was intense but we somehow avoided the rain. A standout was dinner at Nobu on the 58th floor to celebrate our honeymoon, Cam’s upcoming birthday and our 10 year anniversary. Nights were spent at street markets, days pampering ourselves with massages and spa treatments, visiting temples, malls and Chinatown, riding tuk tuks, eating pad Thai and even spending time with rescued elephants and attending a boxing match. We also ended up stuck there an extra 6 days waiting on my visa approval but there are worse places to be.

Vietnam was a last minute reshuffle but turned out to be unforgettable. Da Nang was relaxed with beautiful beaches and coastal views, Hoi An stole our hearts with lantern lit nights, river cruises and a very quick lesson in tourist scams 😆 Hanoi was our final stop and a sensory overload in the best way. Incredible food, endless coffee, museums, night markets and dinner on famous train street with the train passing just centimetres away.
And just like that our 6 month adventure came to an end.

Highlights of Hungary 🇭🇺, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 , Sweden 🇸🇪

Budapest surprised us in the best way after our first overnight train adventure! A hop on hop off bus tour that ended in getting absolutely drenched, a dreamy night river cruise past Parliament, thermal baths at Széchenyi, ruins bars and the best langos. Already dreaming of a return.

London never disappoints. My third visit and Cam’s first, ticking off all the icons, overpriced fish and chips, Coldplay at the Wembley, Harry Potter Studios, Camden & Borough markets, landmarks (Big Ben, London Eye just to name a few) and even a tube strike for the full experience.

Stockholm was a spontaneous stop on our way back toward Australia. Rainy arrival, royal sights, Old Town, city plazas, IKEA and Swedish meatballs before flying business class to Tokyo.

Countries 14, 15, 16 & 17 🌍✈️

From Germany 🇩🇪 (cathedrals, currywurst, Autobahn speeds & Cameron living his best car-lover life at Porsche, Mercedes & Nürburgring 🏎️) to a 24-hour waffle stop in Antwerp, Belgium🇧🇪 🧇. Amsterdam 🇳🇱stole our hearts again with canals, bikes, stroopwafels & sunset cruises 🚲✨. Ending in Poland 🇵🇱 with an incredibly moving visit to Auschwitz and time wandering Krakow’s old town — unforgettable and humbling.

Montenegro 🇲🇪, Bosnia 🇧🇦 and Croatia 🇭🇷. Another three beautiful countries ticked off our Balkan adventure. We hired a car in Albania and set off in search of history, culture, good food and unforgettable views. Montenegro gave us epic mountain drives, sunset spots like Horizont, and quiet mornings looking out over the Bay of Kotor. Bosnia completely won us over with its depth, warmth and resilience. Sarajevo was rich in history and emotion, while Mostar stole our hearts with its food, charm and that iconic bridge. Croatia was the perfect finale, with time spent wandering the old towns of Split and Dubrovnik, watching sunsets and fireworks, and spotting Game of Thrones filming locations.
The border crossings, winding roads and cultural mix made this part of our trip so unique. Each country had its own story and beauty. We’re heading on to our next adventure with full hearts, new knowledge and a craving for more burek & cevapi!

Highlights of Turkey 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Cappadocia & Gallipoli
Turkey absolutely blew us away with its rich culture, deep history and once in a lifetime experiences. We wandered through vibrant bazaars in Istanbul, visited iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and even stood where my dad did 40 years ago. We cruised the Bosphorus at sunset, explored both the European and Asian sides of the city, and tasted our way through endless Turkish tea and coffee. In Cappadocia, we were lucky to tick off a hot air balloon ride after days of cancellations beforehand and explored ancient underground cities, volcanic valleys and pigeon huts carved from ash. We wrapped up with an emotional day at Gallipoli, reflecting on history and sacrifice. Turkey, you were unforgettable! We can’t wait to come back and explore more.
