7 years ago I finished my first thru hike on the PCT with my little sister by my side… I remember thinking at that time how wild it is that people hike all 3 long distances trails & is something I’d probably never be able to do.

But HERE WE ARE !!! standing at one of the most epic finish lines with tears of exhaustion, excitement & pure happiness. A moment I cant find the words for-

I’m beyond grateful to have had so much support over the years; THANK YOU to everyone who was able to help me out on my journey from Georgia to Maine… making this crazy dream a reality 🫶🏻

📍Long Trail: mile 0-100

The Appalachian & Long Trail share the same trail for 100 miles- so being back right now feels a little nostalgic. Even though, I’m not gonna lie.. I was pretty miserable last year while hiking the AT. It was so hot & humid, the bugs were awful and the exhaustion of hiking for the past 4 months had drained me. I remember not really caring or understanding the hype of this state or section of trail.

But Vermont… you have TOTALLY REDEEMED YOURSELF 😍

I’m so so grateful to be back & experience the true beauty and magic of a New England fall 💛🍁🍂✨

Dear Long Trail, please be kind to me & my knees

I hiked 100 miles of this trail last year when I was on the AT & swore I had enough of east coast hiking after last summer-
