When I think back to the series of choices we both made that led us to each other, it’s hard not to believe in faith. From coworkers to friends to lovers, we’ve grown so much as individuals and as a couple. We’ve been so many different people and have lived so many different lives together. I have loved every version of you throughout these years and have enjoyed every second of our journey together. You’ve chosen me every day and in every way since we’ve been together, you’ve enriched every part of my life and have made every experience sweeter. Growing up with you has been surreal. 28 you ATE and left no crumbs ✨

This year brought so many firsts. I became a director, a fiancée and a homeowner 🏡💍. I moderated my first panel, spoke on my first panel, traveled through beautiful Colombia, did our first round of bachata lessons, bought our first home, tackled our first round of renovations and finally moved in. Feeling so grateful for this life and the people I get to share it with 💛

POV: you bought your first home with your fiancé ❤️🥹

One of my (admittedly toxic) traits is not taking the time to truly acknowledge and celebrate my wins. I have a habit of brushing right past them, already focused on the next goal. But this time, I’m choosing to pause. To be present.

I didn’t grow up with material wealth, far from it actually. If I wanted something, I had to work for it. No handouts, and honestly, I’m okay with that. Slightly grateful even because it’s shaped me to be who I am. It’s what makes this moment feel that much sweeter.

And the best part? Doing it with the man who feels like home in human form. Im so excited for this next chapter and all the memories we’ll create within these walls. Forever grateful for this life we’re building, brick by brick. ✨ by @_jananin
