@edenpolecompetition Basework 2026 ✨ Thank you for receiving this one better than I had hoped for Eden Judges & Audience.

This piece was a concept that blossomed off the back of having absolutely no creative juices in me at the time and so the process was how am I feeling now? How have I been feeling the past few weeks? the past few months? and how can I put that into a Dance piece? I’ve always had ups and downs with my mental state and also how I feel I exist in this world. I’ve recently been going through an adhd and autism assessment too (ha haven’t heard back yet cause I keep forgetting to call them back oh the irony). As my self discovery is so important to me as I become more understanding, accepting and nurturing to myself and what kind of person I am and who I want to be.

I had already had the idea in my head about playing with the breath in a dance piece and I felt that this worked well with the rest of the concept and for the Eden stage.

I hope you can connect with it and feel something. It was a really vulnerable one for me having the VoiceOver of myself. The VoiceOver was during a meltdown I was having and my partner (who is a sound designer) had a microphone at their desk where they work and I was having a meltdown and I told them to hit record then we chose some of those snippets to put into the piece so it’s really hard for me to hear and to listen back but I think it makes the piece what it is.

I can’t thank @enyatorres_ enough for her support with this piece. We work well together creating things and her 🧠 compliments my chaotic brain 🌷 I wouldn’t have had the head mic sourced so easily if it wasn’t for her support either (she knows people, shock). So thank you bb. Legend.

Closer - snippets from my @greatbritishpolechamps piece back in July ✨

This one was so much fun to put together. I don’t always bring out my dark femme energy on stage, let alone for a big stage and audience like GBPC but I wanted to let the Goddess come out. I always planned to start off the pole, taking my sweet time and I think it got everyone’s attention as intended. Being a D0m has taught me a lot about myself and intertwining this energy with my feral, sexy strong self on stage felt good to share in that environment. Out of the shadows and into the light. A privilege to compete so much this year too. My bank account can’t wait til they’re over HA.

Big shout out to my fav body double creation partner @enyatorres_ for some movement inspo especially with the skrip of the robe. This space. This space is such a sacred space. Thank you @beanie_the_jet & @fionatopole for holding this space for us to move freely and express. A huge inspiration.

This Sip n Show was “a night at the movies” and so I chose the credit song from LOTR return of the king. The finale, the final track after the story is done. Got me allllll in my feels, I hope you feel it too.
