3rd & Final Lesson: if you want to travel fast, travel alone. But if you want to go far, travel together!

The second lesson I learned on my journey is that it’s not about where you came from, it’s about where you’re going.

In less than a week I will be a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a B.A. in Psychology. I’ll then be relocating to Dallas,TX where I’ll be a full time Global Operations Developmental Analyst for Bank of America.

Anybody who knows me can tell you it wasn’t easy and damn sure wasn’t perfect, but I still kept going. Every failure, every triumph, every tear shed, every sleepless night, every class, every shift worked was for this moment right here. Doing my biggest one so the ones who not here can feel me.

To know me is to know wherever you drop me on the map, I’m a Baltimore girl through and through, and without my home base, none of this would be possible. This one is for little Janyia.
