Puerto Rico Mission Trip 🇵🇷

Thank you Jesus for such an amazing week. Being able to serve communities in need with my friends was an incredible blessing. The first thing we were told was to say “yes” to every serving opportunity & our team came hungry. The community of Puerto Rico was so welcoming & accepting of prayer. Seeing them worship Jesus & give thanks to the Lord this week really shaped my idea of true wealth. Wealth is found in a relationship with Jesus Christ not money. Thank you Jesus for letting us worship you not just in North Carolina, & having a great community to do so with. Being able to pray for, support, & talk to brought me to tears this weekend. I can’t thank God enough for this opportunity. Huge shoutout to @dreamcenteresperanza for this opportunity & @studentlifelkn for making this trip possible.

Thank you God for this amazing weekend & allowing for us to worship you & praise you Lord. The amount of growth I made this weekend is beyond what I expected & I’m super glad I was able to attend this event. From tears shed at the altar to praying for those at the altar, I’m super thankful for this weekend. This weekend helped me truly realize that I can’t alter my past, but I can bring my past to the altar & I thank God every day for that. Thank you to my small group & the growth we made with each other through our vulnerability with each other. I’m super thankful & blessed that @studentlifelkn was able to make this weekend possible & can’t wait for what the future holds with my faith journey. by @_jb273

WILDLIFE 2026!!! ✝️
Words cant express the gratitude in my heart for this week. The message & mission of this week was to set a fire in the students hearts & boy did that happen. I could not stop crying on the last day seeing how the Lord had set a fire in everybody’s soul. I haven’t felt a sense of being at home elsewhere in a while, & camp did just that for me. I want to thank the community for being so welcoming & amazing. I was able to talk to even more people than before & had really good talks about Jesus all camp. A year ago I didn’t know these people, & now I can confidently say that I’m leaving my second family. It’s super bittersweet but knowing I got to spend time with people who challenged me to be better each day is such a blessing. I want to also thank the leaders / camp counselors. Thank you for pouring your heart out to these kids & taking time out of your summer to tell people about Jesus. Everyone here has helped me so much in my faith & I can’t thank God enough for such an amazing community. For the seniors, know that God is walking with you everyday & continue to shine the light of Jesus in college. I want to thank @studentlifelkn & @awanitavalley for making this an unforgettable experience with long-lasting memories. Thank you @traewoodard for all the time you spent planning this camp & being such a great youth pastor for these kids. So sad it’s over, but knowing God has things planned for all these people is amazing. Shoutout Cabin 13. Forever grateful @studentlifelkn

1 year ago on July 17, 2025, I laid my life down to Jesus Christ. I was carrying burdens with anxiety & addictions that humans shouldn’t carry & Jesus was there to take them. I was brought out my comfort zone & saying yes to Jesus was the best decision I have ever made. Since then, I’ve openly declared my faith through baptism, been to another camp, led prayer for my baseball team, & went on a mission trip to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. Jesus saved my life when I was at my lowest & when I didn’t know who I even was. He reformed my identity into what I needed it to be, & I thank God everyday. I’ve been blessed with a community through @studentlifelkn & I’ve built such a community from it. I want this to serve as a testimony to people that Jesus changes lives & he can change yours. Give your life to Jesus because he loves you & wants you to run to him. “Now I am glad I sent it, not because it hurt you, but because the pain caused you to repent and change your ways. It was the kind of sorrow God wants his people to have, so you were not harmed by us in any way.”

Proverbs 27:17 - “As iron sharpens iron, so one friend sharpens a friend.” Thank you Jesus for the blessing of playing this game I love one last time & the brotherhood of this team. I’ll forever miss a team like this, but knowing you’re in control of my journey is a blessing beyond measure. WILDLIFE 2025! Forever grateful for this weekend & getting the opportunity to worship the Lord. Seeing people give their lives to the Lord really spoke to me & it was such a blessing to see true surrender. It’s always wonderful getting to honor & worship the Lord with your friends & growing closer to him. Huge shoutout to all the leaders for taking their time to serve the younger generation. Much love to @studentlifelkn & @traewoodard for making this weekend possible. Always thankful for the small groups & the vulnerability we have with each other. I learned so much from this weekend & can’t wait to see what God has in store for this generation! I wouldn’t trade this weekend for anything.
