Another summer in Berlin comes to an end, but somehow this feels more like a rebirth than an ending. A couple of years ago, I came to Germany through a program I wasn’t even sure I wanted, without really accepting the reality I was facing and often feeling misunderstood. I spent many nights on the dancefloor looking for answers in music, face covered in sweat, heart racing like it could stop at any moment. Somewhere along the way, I got lost and found myself again through music. That connection gave me a way to express things I couldn’t put into words.

Today, it makes me incredibly happy to be able to create a space where people with the same love can come together, share and experiment. To see these hearts full of passion connect through music is something I’m deeply grateful for.

Nico Noir b2b Juan Diego Drouet

Curator and selector Nico Noir joins us for the second time this year. After shaping dancefloors across New York’s underground scene over the past seasons,
with appearances at Outer Heaven, Mad Radio, Green Room and Apollo Studio, he returns to Berlin to close out the summer season.

For the first time, he’ll be sharing the booth with Juan Diego, taking us on a deep journey through old school tech-house, minimal techno gems and everything in between.

Juan Diego Drouet is an Ecuadorian artist based in Berlin, who has been steadily emerging within the city’s underground scene over the past years.

As the head behind Simbiosis, he has his own musical signature that evolved through the influence of Berlin’s rave culture, his Latin roots, and a passionate curiosity for contemporary sounds from around the world.

His selections move through deep techno, psychedelic house, wave, and acid, drawing inspiration from the spirit of the 90s and 00s progressive era while keeping a forward thinking approach to also listening moods.

For the third mix series, Juan Diego delivers a journey built around hypnotic rhythms and trippy atmospheres.

A night to dance it out, let go, and get beautifully lost in the sound. Simbiosis welcomes groovers to shake the week off with a bit of chaos, a lot of love, and a dancefloor ready to take us somewhere special. 💫

Grounded in the bass-heavy pulse of Bristol and the UK South-West’s soundsystem culture, Pandora joins us for the night’s peak-time slot. Now residing in Berlin, she moves through minimal, house, and dub techno, drawing inspiration from the worlds of Heideglühen and Freerotation.@jess.pandora

Kim Bruun, aka Patamamba, carries the KIMCHI spirit into the night with his collection, sharing with us some timeless records. His signature sound waves through deep house, acid, and breakbeats with a psychedelic touch.@patamamba_ @kimchi_records
