I’ve truly been blessed on this Xtreme journey to be coached and led by the BEST! So of course, when my bestie & I found out Gab was on the lineup for #SummerStepFest, we made our arrangements! 🚗💨

Truth is, Gaby has been BOOKED & BUSY all summer!! 🔥 I’m just glad I was finally able to witness the motion in real time. And the best part? SHE’S NOT DONE, Y’ALL! 👏🏾

To my sister, Adia, whose name means “Gift from God.” 🤍

I still remember being 9 years old, crying when my mother told me she was having a baby. My entire life had been just me and her, and now I was going to have to share her… with another human? Eeeyuck 😭

What I didn’t know then was just how much I would need that gift.

From the moment you were born, you were a gift. I fell in love with your bright brown eyes, your contagious energy, your humor, and most importantly, your quiet love. Watching you grow into the woman you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. You continue to amaze me daily with your MANY gifts and talents. Our family’s orator, encyclopedia, resident comedian, and somehow still the best mediator between the “littles” ; and you carry each role so effortlessly.

I also have to take a moment to salute the matriarch of our family, my mother, Mommy. Letting Adia leave the nest and supporting her through college thousands of miles away was no easy feat, but you did it with grace, strength, and unwavering love. Every phone call, flight, care package, prayer, sacrifice, and moment of encouragement helped carry her through this journey. Now, as she reaches this incredible milestone, I hope you can rest in knowing that the seeds you planted in us have carried us so far. 2 out of 4 with college degrees… and we are NOT finished yet!!

Adia, I am so immensely proud of you. My Ivy League, DEBT FREE scholar. My inspiration. Your intelligence, your heart, your voice, and your determination are going to take you places beyond what any of us can imagine. The sky is truly the limit if you continue believing in yourself the way we all believe in you.
