Dear Basketball,
“I’m grateful for showing me a life beyond Memphis and for keeping me disciplined. I lost half my childhood friends to the streets, but you saved me from that unknown path. As 2024 comes to an end, so does an era for me — but I’ve left the game behind with a legacy.” 1st team All-Region.✅ Region MVP.✅ Player of the year. ✅ 1000 point scorer.✅ Champion.✅. …… Ball up top 🅿️ #explore #hbcu taken in Dent Hall by @_jefe5

“My Pops always told me, ‘A wise man once said nothing.’ Through all the obstacles, the hate, the doubt, and the lies, I stayed humbled, stuck to the plan, and kept pushing forward. From enrolling at Dillard with a 2.0 GPA to graduating with over a 3.0 GPA in one of the toughest majors, I’m proud of the man I’m becoming.

2 degrees, 3 certifications, and endless opportunities—this is just the beginning.” #alumni #hbcugrad 🤲🏽 taken in Dillard University by @_jefe5
