Ephesians 5:25
“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her”

I have never fully understood what that verse meant, until a couple of years ago, when we reconnected seemingly out of nowhere. Now I know that it was all part of God’s perfect plan for our lives. Macoy, you are the epitome of what it means to love me as Christ loved the church. You sacrifice everything every day for me. You love me unconditionally every single day and there’s nothing you wouldn’t do just to bring me joy or to put a smile on my face. You know me better than I know myself, you would give your life for my happiness, you lead me gracefully, you always put me first. You show me Christ-like love, dedication, and commitment every single day.

I have said many times that there are two things in the world I know for certain, in a world full of uncertainty, and it’s that 1. God is real and Jesus died for us, and 2. that God hand crafted you for me, and me for you, and that you will be my husband. Now, it is truly coming to fruition. I truly can’t put into words how much you mean to me and how much I love you, but I love you more and more every single day. You are truly my best friend, and there’s no one else that knows and loves me like you do. Every single day I get to spend with you is a blessing, and now we get to spend the rest of our lives together, I couldn’t thank God enough. I promise I will be the best wife I can be, but I KNOW you will be the best husband I could ever ask for or dream of. You will never let me down, you will never leave my side.
