A girl from West Philly with big goals, who always tries to make something outta nothing — or the best outta the worst situations.

At 15 years old and pregnant, she still wanted more outta life. She dreamed of being a nurse since 10th grade and never dropped outta school, even as a teen mom. She secured her LPN, and at 25 years old, moved out of her hometown to Florida.

She got closer to Christ and gave her life to God. She went to RN school in Florida and completed it while struggling to pay her bills. Now, she’s graduating with her RN and will soon sit for her boards — all thanks to the Most High and the strong women who encouraged and helped her in various ways.

She never compromised her values to get ahead in ways that weren’t aligned with her spirit. With 10 toes down and ALL odds against her, it WAS DONE with the grace of God.

This summer challenged us in ways I never expected. A challenging summer filled with moments I wish I could’ve made easier for you. But through it all, God reminded me of one of my greatest blessings—you. 🤍
