BEAT MEZE.

two and a half years ago, when i was just starting to make music, i had this idea in my head.

i wanted to create a project using only music that i grew up around. greek records, greek cds.

all of the samples on this tape came from old vinyls and cds. some of them came from my mum’s cd collection.

over the last two and a half years, i made a lot of music. as i got better, the project kept changing with me. some beats stayed, some didn’t make the cut, and new ones took their place.

what started as a random idea slowly turned into a collection of the best pieces from that journey.

Last Sunday I had the honor of opening the night for @antigoni - Cyprus Eurovision representative.
From my first track to the last drop, the energy in Limassol was insane.
This recap is just a taste of what happened. Big love to everyone who was there dancing and riding the wave with me. 🎧🔥🇨🇾

Yiayia’s Secret Recipe

this one means a lot to me.

my yiayia is probably the reason i started cooking.
before i understood music, before i understood anything about creating, i was watching her put love into every little detail without even thinking about it.

this conversation, this recipe, this moment
its more than just food for me. by @_johnio_
