I have to give @piariverola credit for taking me to places I would never go on my own like @villamagnan Where the attention to detail was so thoughtful and beautiful I see why @nickabstract0 thinks about these arrangements throughout the year. Happy that we got this mood while we were there ❤️ grateful to say the least to be able to spend time as a family in a home like this. For my new book PLEASURE PRINCIPLES @_johnreagan spent a year painting 28 images of the garden, through different seasons. The final painting he did was of the cover, and the sea of greens that is Flamingo. I’m so inspired by John and so grateful he agreed to do this project. The book comes out in about two weeks, and u can pre-order now x Richard by @_johnreagan

Nanou. I wanted to have a figure in this painting and without my realizing it, it ended up looking exactly like the Nanny that was at @lamaisondelachapelle during my stay. We had a few conversations where she spoke only French and I spoke only English. I tried asking her to model but it didn’t translate. In the end it all worked out.
