Supercharged NA8

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After way too long finally got the car out to drive.
Slides 1-2: Only photos I have from @goodluckleague Practice Day which was probably good because I was dusting off the cobwebs haha.
Slides 3-4: Trying to chase @dluxdrift and keep up after sleeping on the launch and a little mishap.
Slides 5-9: Just working on faster flicks into the wall and proximity with speed.
Slide 10: @tylerkun with his 360 cam that's 3 Miata's tall.
Such a good weekend and so happy to drive after 2+ years with the new drivetrain setup. Smoked the supercharger on the drive home so will need to replace that before next, but excited to try to be more consistent with driving! taken in Thunderhill Raceway by @_johns.na8_

Feels good to drive the fun car again. About 250 miles on the new engine and starting to feel more confident in it taken in Highway 1, Pacific Ocean, California by @_johns.na8_

Well the goal was to drive this summer, not ruin the fresh engine🫠. But with the help of @evan_hopkins dad we got it apart and back together with a crank that wasn't a thou over the high limit. Still just breaking in the engine and clutch and tune is way too rich in the whole table. But fingers crossed I get to drive this year🤞 by @_johns.na8_

The break was short lived and I wish I was able to get more done, but the daily needed love and I was at least able to start de-looming the harness to delete unnecessary items and modified my catch can and supercharger inlet to actually let the crankcase vent. Don't know if I'll drive anytime, bur hopefully this year. by @_johns.na8_

Great event as always from @garagespeed.jp ! Always great to meet new people, especially Miata's like @boujee.juliann . Had a few laps in the wet which was cool, but didn't get many good videos so enjoy me holding the feint too long into T1. taken in Apple Valley Speedway by @_johns.na8_

For the first time in 3 years this car is one color. It's not perfect, there's runs and bugs in the clear. My first time ever painting with a gun really and a car at that. It'll get a wet sand and polish, but I'm just happen where it's at. Güd car.(peep the last slide for when I first got it.) by @_johns.na8_

Such a great event put on by @garagespeed.jp. Definitely my favorite I’ve been too! Driving was far better started working on trying to find the edge of the track more. Overall 10/10 day😤 taken in Apple Valley Speedway by @_johns.na8_
