Thankful for how far I have come, sad for how far I wanted to go…

The past two years at Mt. Sac have completely changed my outlook on swim and I am so thankful for it. I am so thankful for each of my coaches who have supported me and pushed me beyond my limits. From this I have found a deeper passion for the sport.

The way my season ended was not how I imagined it to end, and realizing it was all over suddenly was an indescribable pain. But I wasn’t just doing it for the end, I was there for the entire journey. And I enjoyed the entire journey greatly. Every extra yard, extra gym session was enjoyed.

I am so thankful for everything I have accomplished in swim at Mt. Sac and I can’t wait to see what the next two years at La Verne have in store! #mountie4life taken in Mt. SAC by @_jonathanr2_

2579 miles later…

After dedicating the past 1.5 years of my life to being a dual sport athlete I have decided to hang up the Vaporflys. This has been an extraordinary journey that did not come easy.

I am extremely thankful to each of my coaches for helping me become the best runner I could be. As well for the flexibility offered to be the best athlete in both sports. From the easy runs to the early morning workouts I will cherish every moment of the journey. Although I did not get to compete for my freshman year wearing the Mt. Sac uniform was an honour this past year.

It has been an honour running with this team and I look forward to what is ahead for me in the pool. ✌️

Come visit me on the West Coast

August 9th marks one year since packing up my life in three suitcases and moving to California. This past year has been nothing short of amazing! It has been great being able to go to the beach, soak up sunshine 24/7 and so much more. I look forward to what the West Coast holds in store for me in the future!
