Bent Lamination, Turned Wood, Hand Tools | Hand Carved Wood
The Disk Holder & Carved Mask were finals from my Wood I class, made as a display of the skills learned through the semester. The Disk Holder utilised lathe turning, dowels and bent wood lamination to create a sturdy tripedal form. The Carved Mask drew inspiration from traditional Inuit snow goggles made by the people of the Arctic. by @_joshmtwhite](https://scontent-msp1-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.75761-15/474454099_18450514138069849_2632183718028847571_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s640x640_tt6&_nc_cat=110&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=Q-cuecBSoFYQ7kNvwGDvdB_&_nc_oc=AdqaZTojhbAA72usyTFb6gzfMAndGaZO_RAxgo4teZMGdXQaKS4U0-dViNIWFQXcW2yes-qtIui_9fEDImwv-HH0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-msp1-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=78jgf6jAiyLORiJI5_jvXw&_nc_ss=70689&oh=00_AQShCpQykSMpX8avei0puvuo765FPnOqGtbwipKkkyJLVw&oe=6AEFC5BD)

The introspective helmet is the second iteration of the original blindspot helmet that aimed to remove the wearer's blind spot. The introspective helmet takes the concept to an extreme by filling the wearer's vision with reflections, confronting them with a deconstructed image of their face. by @_joshmtwhite](https://scontent-msp1-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.82787-15/657789217_18464999200099431_1022927628747671653_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s640x640_tt6&_nc_cat=101&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=TXwq1kxKyKIQ7kNvwGCapES&_nc_oc=AdqMLvs5ItiB0Pts1DY_FmhdC3IeUJwcgBZ6QWCkPba0Zmpk2KSozOL_SLzB-IhNdy7AFnFcRT1Pi4BS72teICH9&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-msp1-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=78jgf6jAiyLORiJI5_jvXw&_nc_ss=70689&oh=00_AQRP5QHFEUiFcyoWQf0xrB89WE0nUlJ97-OeEP4cL6_S4g&oe=6AEFCC1B)
