1st year of Camp 323 in the books!

This was definitely a week to remember! Being able to see God work in and through me was so awesome. Even better than that was watching him work in and through the kids.

This week God shows me that his ways are higher than mine. When I first signed up for camp I thought I was singing up to be a squad assistant but a few weeks later I found out I was going to be serving as a squad captain. My immediate reaction was to figure out how to undo this mistake. But after taking some time to think, I felt in my spirit to stick with it, and I’m so glad I did.

There’s just something so special about the love and joy these kids brings each day. It reminds you of the love God has for us. Getting to witness them grow from being shy and timid to bold and confident was so amazing. And having the opportunity to impact them in their faith and in life was such a blessing. I’m so glad I had the privilege of being a squad captain and I’m so ready for next year!
