To those who don’t know their identity,
To those who have forgotten or lost sight of who they are:

You are chosen by God
You are loved by God
You are fearfully and wonderfully made
You are not a mistake
You are not defined by your past
You are a child of God
You have a Father who loves you deeply
You are a Royal priesthood
God is for you

What better way to find yourself than asking the one whose surname you bear (God). You are God’s child, God’s masterpiece.

This is just a little reminder of who and whose you are, *It is also an invitation:*

To know your Father
To know yourself; your true and authentic self which is found in Abba.

*GOD IS LOVE*

Love is a deep feeling of emotions or attachment to someone or something.

A powerful woman of God @_.doctorblessing said that Love is not feelings but it can be expressed through feelings.

Love is also a person
1 John 4:8 NLT-But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
God is love and therefore the attributes of love are the attributes of God.

For example,
God is Holy and so is love
God is pure and so is love.

To understand love, you need to know God.
A way has been made for us to know God and It’s through Jesus. John 14:6 NLT
[6]Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

Love (God) gave us life (Jesus) and this life has been offered to everyone through love

One way to reciprocate this love that God has shown is by accepting the life (Jesus) and then reflecting the attributes of Love (God).
Accepting life (Jesus) means that you accept the love of God.

Having received Jesus, we become sons of God who have been called to love, to become love ourselves just like Love (God), to adequately represent Love (God) and to genuinely reflect Love (God) to the world.

For those who have accepted the life and love of God,
Can you say that you have the attributes of Love?
Are you living for God?
Are you reflecting Love?

You can’t say you love if the love you have doesn’t reflect the attributes of God.

If you say you love, You should live for God.

Think on these things 🙇🏾‍♀️

Some weeks ago, I listened to someone talk about the fatherhood of God. She said that a father knows his children.
We are children of God and we all belong to God and we are called by His name.
God knows that we are His.
He knows everything about us including our weaknesses and limitations.
He knows when we make mistakes.
He knows when our strength can fails us.
He knows when we are tired.
But He said to us in Matt.11:28 “Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
He’ll give us rest when we are tired
He’ll show us mercy when we make mistakes and give us grace when our strength fails us.
Our father knows that we would make mistakes and He knows that we would get tired and weak sometimes. He assures us that His arms are wide open to receive us, embrace us and strengthen us.
All we just need to do is to run to our father and remain in His embrace until we are strengthened. #God #jesus #worship #viralreels taken in House of God by @_joy_collins
