Just saw a video of this guy being an jerk at a jam and remembered getting to see him in action 2 years ago… Some context: He decided that a street performer in Washington Square Park wasn’t playing complex enough music so he decided to harass him for over 30 minutes. That’s when @cdemarcomusic stepped in to defend the performer and then a Navy Seal came in last minute to promptly end his ego trip. Gotta love NYC! p.s. tag the performer if you recognize him!! taken in New York, New York by @_js0ng

🎸 The first Ground Level Guitar / Vocal Night.

Four artists. Four unique stories. One room filled with music, creativity, and connection.

A huge thank you to Cathy, Aron, Jun, and Miazor for helping us kick-start something we’ve been wanting to create at Ground Level Coffee — a space where local artists can simply show up, share their music, and be themselves.

Each artist brought their own sound, personality, creativity, and journey to the evening. What made the night special wasn’t just the music — it was hearing their stories, watching the artists connect with one another, and seeing new relationships and conversations happen naturally.

After the night, one of the things that meant the most to us was hearing how appreciative the artists were of the opportunity to perform, connect, network, and share their experiences with each other.

That’s exactly what we want Ground Level to be.

☕️ A coffee shop.
🎸 A stage.
🎨 A creative space.
🤝 And a welcoming place for local talent to grow.

We want to build a space where artists don’t have to wait for their big break to have a place to share their work.

This is only the beginning.

To the artists out there — musicians, singers, creatives — if you’ve got something to share, we’d love to hear from you. DM us.

And to everyone who came out and supported the first night — thank you for being part of it.

Our next Guitar / Vocal Night is coming.
Come grab a coffee, stay for the music, and discover the local talent in our city. 🎶

His rendition is always something to look out for, and personally we were amazed at how much one can achieve with pure passion

Street performers deserve respect. What’s the worst thing you’ve seen someone do to a performer?
