Hyrox HTX
Marathon and HYROX completed in my first year of hybrid training. Grateful to be able to push and challenge myself physically—especially now 5 years into remission from stage 2 testicular cancer. Proud of the progress this year. Excited to see how we do in our next Hyrox in Salt Lake City

“The sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed.” — Romans 8:18

I didn’t hit my sub 4:30 goal. Around mile 17, I knew something was wrong with my right ankle the pain kept building and the swelling became hard to ignore. I was honestly devastated in that moment.

But I refused to let 16 weeks of training, early mornings, and long runs go to waste. No matter how painful it got, I was determined to finish what I started.

26.2 miles later, I understand that verse even more.
Pain fades. Growth remains.
On to the next race.
