As Saudi Arabia’s first professional boxer, Ziyad Almaayouf had no blueprint to follow. No Saudi fighter before him to point to as proof that the career he imagined was possible. So he believed in it anyway.
“You need to believe in your future long before you see any proof. Long before you even feel proof.”
That sense of will has taken him from training in Saudi Arabia as a child to turning professional, fighting at Madison Square Garden and becoming Giorgio Armani Middle East Fragrance Ambassador for “I Will” Eau de Parfum.
