Jaden Boykin B.S., CSD, RBT

hey speechies!!
just popping in with a little re-intro for all the new faces! i’m jaden — a recent xavier university grad + current RBT, and i’ll be starting my M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology this August! I created this space to share the journey — from clinic moments and late-night study grinds to the wins, the doubts, and all the growth in between. i’m beyond excited (and a totally nervous lol) to step into this new chapter and grow in a field that feels like home.✨✨✨

thanks for following along on the journey

You don’t need a room full of materials to plan a great session. 🍓 Here are 5 ways I use puff balls to target language, play, and fine motor skills. Save for later!

Each week I’ll be sharing little snapshots from the clinic with activities, the learning moments, and the memories that remind me why I chose speech-language pathology.

I’ve definitely been MIA for a little while, but life has been keeping me busy in the best way. 🩷 I wrapped up my school-based placement, started my summer placement at an ABA clinic, and have continued doing what I love as an RBT. Every day has looked a little different, but each experience has taught me something new and continues to remind me why I chose this field. I’m so thankful for every opportunity that’s helping shape the clinician I hope to become. Year two of grad school, let’s do this! by @_justspeechie

I survived, learned, loved, and needed all the sleep I could get! Grades are in, clinical hours done, memories made, and growth everywhere, onto the next semester 1/5! ✨🥂 by @_justspeechie

Being an RBT isn’t just a job, it’s a part of my foundation. Every session, every challenge, every breakthrough helps me grow into the SLP I’m becoming. I’m still learning, but I know I’m exactly where I need to be.✨✨✨✨
