kinda chic to be a writer 🥹

Hiiii!! I’m Makaela, a Catholic author of a debut novel, The Golden Mountain, a YA fantasy novel. In the Four Kingdoms, a world inspired by Celtic mythology where the sun has disappeared, an evil race known as Fir Olc have clawed their way out of the caves and roam the land. According to an ancient prophecy, the only way to bring back the sun and destroy the Fir Olc is for a young woman to kill a blind duke on top of the Golden Mountain. Easy, right? Not really, when Miandra Leann is so desperate to find her brother, she joins the army and is inadvertently hunted by Fir Olc. Or when Damon Lewington, a man raised for slaughter, is forced to save Miandra and face his fragile mortality.

Hiiii!! I’m Makaela, an up-and-coming author of The Golden Mountain, a YA fantasy novel. TGM is the first book in a trilogy and tells a story of warring with one’s fate chosen before birth and what one can possibly do when everything planned falls apart.
