Celebrated National PA Day 2025 surrounded by mentors, classmates, and future colleagues ⚕️🩺 Our last PA Day as students, even though we were missing a big part of our class with everyone spread across clinical rotations. Next year, we’ll be celebrating as official PAs… more than halfway there! Huge shoutout to @_kali_pa CCPA, for organizing such a great event! #PAStudent #FuturePA #PhysicianAssistant #PAsOfCanada #CanadianPA #NationalPADay #PADay2025 #MPAS #MPAS2026 #UManitoba #UniversityOfManitoba #UManitobaPA #UManitobaMPAS #ManitobaPA #PAClassOf2026 #MPASClassOf2026 #HealthcareStudents #ClinicalYear #PAJourney #AlmostPAs #MoreThanHalfwayThere by @_kali_pa

This week I was honoured with the Department of Family Medicine 2025 Early Career Development Award, largely in part due to work done with CAPA to decrease financial barriers for PA students across Canada. Thanks to my nominators PA Mueller, PA Piotrowski, and Dr Bellas. by @_kali_pa
November 27th is NATIONAL PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT DAY in Canada 🇨🇦 🍁 • From coast to coast, PAs are providing safe and quality care to patients. PAs are proving to be valuable members of healthcare teams, and help address many of the strains and challenges of the healthcare system. • There are many positive strides being made, and the growth of the PA profession within Canada is exciting. • So on November 27th, remember to thank PAs for all that they do, reach out to a PA to learn more, or simply share this video to help raise awareness for Canadian PAs! • 🎥: written and directed by @canadapas • #CanadaPAs #CanadaNeedsPAs #BCNeedsPAs #physicianassistant #physicianassistants #physicianassociate #pastudent #paschool #health #medicine #healthcare #canada #medblog #medblogger #instamed #instamedicine by @_kali_pa

Extremely grateful to once again get a seat at the table with Minister @uzomachioma Today we discussed the role PAs play in primary care — highlighted by PA Piotrowski, and included comments from his physician colleagues, clinic manager, and patients under his care. Thanks to everyone who carved time in their day to discuss how PAs enhance primary care in Manitoba, and brainstorming ways to grow the number of PAs in this specialty! by @_kali_pa
Got to sit in for @manitobandpcaucus Budget 2024! Of course no photos allowed in the gallery, but got to hear first hand from Minister Asagwara — PA training spots in Manitoba are increasing! by @_kali_pa
The business (and pleasure) of attending #CAPA2023 There is something extra special about showing up to a conference to meet people for the first time, that you already know from interacting online. Thanks to the conference planning committee for the excellent range of presentations, social events, guest speakers, and mindfulness sessions. The conference was in Fredericton, but I was able to get in some amazing pre-conference activities in Saint John. Don’t forget to complete the session evaluations to claim your CME. See you Oct 17-19, 2024 in Ottawa! by @_kali_pa
