Took a quiz at the Reju booth at Invest Fest. It said my weak point was boundaries.

That weekend, I failed one. They told me, “You didn’t fail. It’s something to work on.”
It worked on me. But I was outside, at an event, walking up to booths.

The people who need it most aren’t. They’re home, doom scrolling.

So I put @rejuapp co-founder @_kampaign7 on the Hot Seat and asked him how he reaches them. 👇

Founders, if your model only works on the customers who come to you, you’re missing the ones who won’t. Where are yours actually spending their time?

On April 15th at 6:14 PM Aveya Rylee Wade was welcomed into the world. Thank you God for this gift. Her mother and I recognize that she is yours first and foremost. We are honored to be able to guide and train her up in the right way. Thank you to my wife for delivering a beautiful and healthy babygirl. Alina you got your baby sister 🥹. Thank you to those that helped us along the way and kept our big secret discreet.

Aveya, I’m so proud to be your dad. I do not take the honor of being a girl dad lightly at all. Just as I promised your mother and sister I promise you that I’ll dedicate myself to constantly growing, becoming the best version of myself and living a life that makes you all proud.

When YOU look in the mirror, WHAT DO YOU SEE?
👀 A Barbershop talk centered around growth, community, wellness, and support!

“Proud to stand alongside the Southern University Men’s Federation as a partner in this year’s Men’s Conference.
At Ed Trust Louisiana, we believe real change starts with proximity being in the room, listening to students, and creating spaces where their voices aren’t just heard, but valued and activated. This conference is exactly that.
When we engage student voice intentionally, we don’t just talk about leadership we help shape it. We create conditions where young men can reflect, grow, and step into their purpose with clarity and confidence.
That’s how we cultivate a collegiate experience that is not only memorable, but meaningful and ultimately, transformative.

Roses Grow from Concrete too 🌹

I used to get mad when people would tell me I can’t be from Newark cause of how I talked or how I carried myself. I was told I was too this or maybe not enough of that.

At the same time though I’m still going to homies funerals, listening to shootouts at night, watching people strung out on the bus stop across the street or seeing prostitutes walk up and down the block.

So when you see someone who is different encourage them cause they already may feel like they don’t belong, that they stick out or that maybe it’s just best for them to emulate what they see around them since that’s what people expect.

Don’t let social media fool you. Growing up in the city is not an aesthetic or something you just pick up cause it’s trendy. It’s real, the experiences are real and it’s people everyday still navigating that reality.

So watch what you say cause you gonna be sick if someone gotta show you where they from cause you ain’t believe it when they told you.
