Dance entered my life in March of 2022 during a season where I felt disconnected from myself. I was 70 pounds heavier and learning how to stand on my own following a breakup.

In a world where I move daily in a very masculine energy — building, leading, executing — dance became the place where I could soften, feel, and reconnect with my feminine expression.

During my time being single, dance has taught me how to be at peace with being alone. It became the space where I gave myself the time, effort, and attention I once poured outward.

I’ve been single for four years now. In that time, I’ve built a successful career, bought a home, started my own business, and built a community I’m deeply proud of.

This season has felt so full rather than empty and dance has been a huge contributor to that.

My dad and I have birthdays just a few weeks apart, and this year my stepmom gave us the perfect gift: a 10-hour deep sea fishing trip … something neither of us had ever done before. 🎣🌊

We both run a million miles a minute and rarely slow down, so parking us in the middle of the ocean for a day was probably exactly what we needed.

We had an absolute BLAST. Our captain was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable, which meant I spent half the day asking him a million questions 😂 I love learning new things and getting to learn from people who genuinely love what they do.

And the fishing was INSANE. We hit one spot loaded with mahi and were pulling them up like candy. We caught a huge female mahi, hooked the bull mahi after spotting a sailfish, limited out on red snapper, and battled some amberjack aka “reef donkeys” that unfortunately fell just short of the size limit.

Such a cool experience, but even better was getting an entire weekend with my dad, stepmom, and baby sister. The last time I saw her she was crawling, and now she’s walking, talking in her own little language, and FULL of personality. 🥹

Very grateful for a weekend that forced me to slow down, spend time with family, and try something new.

Bet you haven’t seen a mafia-themed baby shower before. 🤌🏼🖤

I had an absolute blast co-hosting, decorating, and planning my bestie’s baby shower. I’m so honored to get to play this part in such a special chapter of her life.

I love ya Nadia and I especially love your fun, creative mind. It was so fun bringing your idea to life.

Baby Nora, we are SO excited to welcome you into our wild little community. You have no idea how many people already love you, and you’re not even here yet. 🤍

Can’t wait to meet the newest little member of the family. 🍼✨

I’ve spent so much of my 20s chasing the next goal, building, working, creating, and constantly asking myself, “What’s next?”

And somewhere along the way, I realized I got really good at being productive… but not always very good at being present.

I’m still ambitious. I still have big dreams and probably always will. But I’m working on understanding that slowing down doesn’t mean I’m falling behind. I’m trying to put my phone down more, leave space in my days, travel, be present with the people I love, and actually experience the life I’ve worked so hard to build.

After a hectic journey into Iceland, I couldn’t have been more thankful that I scheduled the Blue Lagoon as my very first stop after the airport. 🇮🇸🩵

I spent HOURS soaking, relaxing, and recovering from the travel and it ended up being the perfect way to start the trip.

The Blue Lagoon had been on my bucket list for years, so finally getting to experience it was pretty surreal. Such a beautiful and unique placealthough, plot twist, it actually wasn’t my favorite lagoon I visited in Iceland. 👀 More on that one later…

And yes, I still cannot believe I DROPPED MY PHONE IN THE LAGOON. 😭😂 Forever grateful for the random man who helped me find it by literally pulling it out of the water WITH HIS TOES.

You’d think that would’ve convinced me to put my phone away for the rest of the day…
