Jesus, You!!!!!

To think You don’t need a single thing but still want our hearts! God values a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart. Why? Because He desires our authentic alabaster - humility & surrender!! Whatever our most prized possession is, or things difficult to relinquish control of, He is SO much more valuable and even went as far as overcoming it all. What moves His heart is our heart!!!!

Our human condition is simple: sin. We could never have saved ourselves because even our righteous deeds are seen as filthy rags. But the good news is that when we look to the person of Jesus Christ, salvation belongs to Him! So now His perfect life, made for a perfect death, makes us clean in His sight. Thank You Jesus for being the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature!!!

We aren’t only seen as clean in God’s sight but He directly looks at us and sees Jesus, if we are made new through His blood and have a life walking in a manner that is worthy of which we have been called - to glorify Him through all things. For the gift and opportunity of reconciliation & an abundant life walking with Jesus! How great a Father!!!

We’re ruined for anything else but Jesus! May His glory be what we are after and may we walk in the purpose He has for us through His Spirit. Holy Spirit, I pray for a fire and a fresh wind that always fills us afresh. The only praise that is acceptable in the Father’s eyes is through the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of our hearts. And the fact that He chose us to be His dwelling place. Is that seriously not a testament to how intentional He was in making us & how clearly He loves us???

Thank You that Your love controls us & that our worth and identity is not in what we own. So blessed and impacted by the past 4 summers at Pine Cove and extremely expectant to all the more He has for me not only here but outside of this place, for all the days of my life! I could never get tired of telling You You’re worthy!!! Sooo many reasons to praise!!!!!!!! taken in Pine Cove Shores by @_katecooksey
