Where do I begin? Seussical has been a favorite show of mine since middle school, and Jojo has been a dream role of mine since then, too. But as years passed, I knew I was getting to the point I’d be too old to play the role. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when Muhlenberg announced that summer musical theatre would be making its return with Seussical!

If you told me a year ago that I would be playing a lead in a Departmental musical my freshman year, I wouldn’t have believed you. When applying to colleges, I had pretty much decided to put musical theatre to the side and just focus on acting. But despite that mindset, I still put myself out there and auditioned for every opportunity possible, and I can now say I have officially played a lead role in a Departmental musical, as a FRESHMAN!?!

Throughout middle and high school, I related to Jojo’s song “Alone in the Universe.” I often felt unseen, unsure if anyone cared to truly get to know me. But this cast, the entire company, and my friends here at ’Berg have showed me so much support throughout this entire process and never made me feel small. This has been such an uplifting process and I cannot thank my cast enough for always having my back and hyping me up anytime I was on stage.

I may have wanted to set aside musical theatre a year ago, but thanks to this production, I now believe in Jojo’s main song “It’s Possible.” If I could achieve this as a freshman, I can’t imagine what the next 3 years have in store. Thank you to the entire creative team, but especially Jim and Noel for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to make a childhood dream come true.

I can’t believe I have to say goodbye to this show and this role so soon. Being surrounded by my friends and doing what I love almost every day has been such an unforgettable experience. Jojo’s creativity, bravery, and unwavering love for his family and friends inspire me beyond measure.

Jojo, little friend, no one else could have thinks such as ours. Thank you for the adventure these past 7 weeks and for showing me that anything truly is possible 💖

Twelfth Night the Musical 4/23-4/26, 2026

It was such a privilege to make my Muhlenberg Departmental debut in my freshman year. Growing up, I always dreamed of my first professional collegiate level theater production, and Twelfth Night not only met my expectations, but surpassed them in ways I never could’ve imagined.

After finishing my last production in NJ, I was terrified that I would never find a community as kind or who cared about me as much as my friends back home did. But this show proved me wrong; from the lyrics of “Eyes of Another” to the very people in the cast and crew, Twelfth Night showed me the true meaning of community and reminded me why I committed to Muhlenberg in the first place.

No matter how rough of a day I had, anytime I walked into Studio 22, I was immediately greeted with an overwhelming sense of joy that immediately made any troubles of the past day disappear. It was so refreshing to be able to walk into a rehearsal space where you knew everyone was excited to be in. And every single person in the production made me feel nothing but welcome the entire time. Even when I screwed up the dance moves or when I was sitting by myself afraid to talk to the upperclassmen, someone was always by my side encouraging me every step of the way. This company showed me what it meant to be part of a community where everyone’s presence matters, and celebrated all of our talents and things that made us unique. Twelfth Night showed me what it would be like to be in a place where love and joy are the predominant emotions, which is definitely something we all desperately need in our world today.

As our director, Jim Peck, said to me while interviewing him for our press release, “Illyria is a magic place where extraordinary things happen.” Living in this world for the past 3 months has been nothing less than a dream, and I am so sad to leave it behind, along with all of our graduating seniors. But I know this is only the beginning for me, and I can’t wait for what the next 3 years at Muhlenberg have in store ❤️ taken in Illyria by @_katelens_world_

I don’t even know how to begin… After The Tempest ended, I thought I had taken my final bow on the Two River stage. I was certain that no show I’d do anytime soon would even come close to living up to how much I loved The Tempest, but I was proven wrong.

On December 27th, 2025, I recieved an email from Two River asking if I would like to return and take on the role of Silvius. I had always joked that I would crash the production, but never in a million years would I have imagined that I’d actually be acting in it.

6 days later on January 2nd 2026, I started rehearsals, & just 2 short weeks after that on January 17th, we opened the show. If you had told me I’d learn an entire show in 3 days, get thrown straight into tech, and successfully put on an entire show in just 2 weeks, all while balancing the first few weeks of my second semester of college 2 hours away, I would have said you were insane. Perhaps I’m the insane one, because I made it work- driving up to 4 hours a day to make it to tech and the student matinees. But I wouldn’t trade a second of it for the world.

The entire process: the cast, crew, directors, & production team made this the most rewarding and unforgettable show I’ve ever been a part of. I’ve never felt more respected by a team than I did in my first 3 days of rehearsal. I’ve never felt more loved, seen, and included than I did during the 3 short weeks I spent with my cast and crew. I’ve also never cried after a show ended, until this one.

As You Like It will always hold a special place in my heart. I’ll spend the rest of my days yearning to be part of another production as special as this one was. Thank you, Two River, for everything you’ve done for me. This isn’t goodbye, but until we meet again ❤️

✅HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA!

13 years of hard work have led to this moment. I can’t believe I’m writing this caption: these past 4 years have flown by too fast. 1 state officer position, 4 school positions, and countless other clubs & activities later, I can officially say I’ve had my fair share of “the high school experience.”

I want to thank my parents for their support & allowing me to attend this school. Thank you to my brother Thomas for getting me through calculus and my sister Gabriella Joy for always watching over me.

Thank you Mr. Homer @ebmstheater for the past 4 years of guidance and for selecting me for the Best in Career Major Award. I hope you continue to make you proud and represent our program at Muhlenberg. Go Mules!

Thanks to all the staff at EBMS for the education I received. Everyone here cares for their students & provides them the tools they need to become the best version of themselves. I can’t imagine who I’d be if I hadn’t attended this school.

Finally, thank you to my friends for giving me the high school experience I dreamed of. Going into HS, I was scared I’d get slushees thrown at me like in “Glee” for being a theatre kid. But if I learned one thing from this school, it’s that there are people who will accept you & love you for who you are. Thank you to my classmates for putting up with my theatre references and annoying voice on morning announcements. Thanks to the underclassmen who looked up to me & encouraged me to keep going. And finally, thank you to all my friends in theatre who have been part of each of my favorite HS memories. To my senior class, I will miss you dearly. You’ve been present at my highest moments and held my hand at the lowest. I can’t wait to see all the beautiful things you do in the future.

🌃Tonight Belongs to Us✨

Senior Prom 5/15/25 💖

The first of many “lasts”. Prom marks the beginning of the end of this unforgettable chapter of high school. I’ve dreamed about this night since I was a little kid, and I still can’t believe it’s already over. I spent the night with the most amazing friends, making tons of memories we’ll hold close forever. It truly was “A Night to Remember”. It was “The Night of Nights”, full of magic, dancing, and the kind of joy you wish you could bottle up forever. “A Night We’ll Never Forget”, one I’ll always cherish and miss deeply as we all go on our next big adventures.

✨The start of something new 💫

I’m so excited to announce my commitment to Muhlenberg College! I will be majoring in theatre and am pursuing a certificate in education. I was also admitted into the Dana Scholars honors program! I can’t wait to spend the next four years advancing my craft and doing what I love!

Thank you to my family and friends for supporting me throughout the years and constantly having my back. And to my many mentors in theatre and in my everyday life, thank you for teaching me everything I know. Everything I’ve ever accomplished is all thanks to you.
