My younger self would think I’m so damn cool. I’m so grateful to be experiencing the very things she once only dreamed of.

Sometimes I become so focused on the horizon that I forget to turn around and honor the distance I’ve already traveled. I think about the younger version of myself—the girl who was painfully insecure, terrified to speak up, struggled with a stutter and felt like an out cast. She would be amazed to see how confidently I use my voice and how fiercely I chase everything I want. There is a special kind of gratitude in realizing that the dreams we chase can also become the life we are already living. Acting, modeling, directing and writing my first book, sometimes I have to pause and remind myself, I’m really doing the damn thing and I’m just getting started.

Cheers to not giving a fuck and never giving up. by @_katelyntuck_
