Why the name «Song»? Song (松) means «pine tree» in Chinese. In Chinese culture, the pine tree carries a special symbolism: it is associated with resilience, purity, nobility, and inner strength. In traditional Chinese culture, the image of the pine is also associated with the concept of the Junzi (君子) — an honorable person, a person of principles.
