My First Love - NYCDA Phoenix Nationals 2025

I knew this solo would be the last I ever performed on a competition stage and I wanted it to be special and meaningful. I realized my very first solo as a mini was a tap solo and I wanted to say goodbye the competition world the same way I started out, with my first love - tap!

When I found this version of Fur Elise I couldn’t help but think about how this music, a song about love, nostalgia, romance, and even agony, related to me wrapping up my competition journey. Add on top this next level choreography from @meganmcbridemoore and it could not be more perfect. 🎶

So thankful to have spent part of my summer with The Verdon Fosse Legacy learning iconic Fosse repertoire at the Intensive Training Program. So grateful for the faculty, staff, and special guests that poured into us these past couple weeks to share their knowledge and experience. Feeling incredibly lucky to be part of the next generation that will keep the Fosse legacy alive.

Guest speakers Ben Vereen and Spence Ford. Spence Ford taught us I Wanna Be a Dancin’ Man. Still pinching myself!

FRESHMEET! 💫

Rounding out my freshman year by performing a self-choreographed solo alongside my insanely talented peers was an unforgettable experience. So thankful for my senior mentor @megan.mcadoo and my big @dancing_hay and their support and guidance through this process. This program is like no other and I’m so blessed to be here!

First DOL in the books! ⭐️

What an absolutely amazing experience! So grateful for the opportunity learn and perform Tapped In choreographed by @chloearnoldtaps as well as understudy Dancin’ Man by @sjovo1 and Until by @lisalatouche. Still pinching myself! 🥰

Thank you to Scott for the time and care he devotes to make Dance Out Loud not just an exceptional show, but a collection of well-curated opportunities for the CD students. Thank you to @lgfunk2 and @hollyevans141 for their constant support each and every day. And special shout out to all my fellow dancers, roommates, and friends for your support and making Freshman year the best! The Pace CD community is like no other! 💛💙
