“Being at this season’s (New York) Liberty games for the first time and witnessing the magic live felt deeply full circle. I had the privilege of being exposed to the WNBA early on— growing up in Tennessee during the Pat Summit era.

Now living in New York, it’s beyond special to reconnect to the sport through the stories surrounding the game and documenting the intentionality behind everyone’s game-day fits.

Her work explores themes of human connectivity and the beauty of belonging, and her creative practice bridges art and activism through immersive multimedia and community-based projects. Katherine is currently part of the 2024 cohort of American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP)’s NY The Bridge Program.
