After 17 years of being a gymnast and 2 years of being a manager, the time has finally come to say goodbye to the sport I love.

Though I never envisioned my career ending the way it did, I wouldn’t have changed my path for anything. This sport has given me so much more than hardware and trophies. I’ve made my lifelong friends, learned how to get through hardships, attended my dream school, and overall is the reason why I am the human being I am. To the little girl that sacrificed so much for her dreams… I hope you realize you’re so much more than a gymnast and I hope I made you proud in the end.

To every person that has believed and supported me throughout the years. You’re supported didn’t go unnoticed and I’m forever grateful for you all. To my family, you all sacrificed so much for the little girl who told you to trust her and her dreams. I’m the luckiest daughter, sister, and aunt in the world to have a support system like you all have provided for me.

Gymnastics, I love you and thank you for all the life lessons.✌🏻🤍 taken in Penn State by @_katieleary
