One thing ended… 1,000 opportunities were born.

My entire mindset shifted… this was God giving me the chance to be the person I wanted to be BEFORE I needed to be her. To become a person capable of receiving blessings, holding AND keeping them.

The desire to be a loving, supportive and nurturing wife became, not unachievable, but MORE achievable. I thought just because I wanted it meant I was ready to do it but I needed to learn how. Being single became an opportunity to be the person I wanted to be for my husband for myself first☝🏼

Little negatives turned positive. “I don’t have someone to cook for” became “I want to learn my way around a kitchen so one day I can feed not just myself, but a husband and a family.” Now cooking is not only a hobby, but a passion. A way to create memories for Sunday mornings, date nights, holidays, family gatherings… and that’s a skill that is priceless.✨

Feeling undesirable became an invitation to fully love my own body. To feel secure, confident, feminine, radiant, beautiful and empowered in my skin… and create habits that not only support outer beauty but internal health. Health that will give me a chance at a longer and happier life with the people I love now, and the ones I haven’t even met yet.🙏🏼

Having my timeline “paused” became the most pivotal moment of my newfound faith. I learned to have REAL trust, that where we are is a crucial part in where we’re going, and that not only do we not know our outcome, but our BEST outcome. Bc only One does. We’re often so busy climbing to the top, we don’t realize our tools to get there are back down at the bottom. And in stumbling back down is God’s help in getting us higher than we’ve ever imagined. It’s a chance to look up and finally recognize God is above you and He is in control. It was the single most important thing God changed in me… my surrender to His will and not my own.
