Well guys, that’s a wrap! 💚

“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

During my time at UNCC, I was blessed to be a part of so many amazing organizations and opportunities:

-Cofounder of Five Star Cheer (Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Event Coordinator)
-Epochal 9 Modeling Troupe (Membership Recruitment Chair)
-National Society of Leadership and Success
-Red Cross Club
-Jamil Niner Pantry Volunteer
-Student Involvement Ambassador
-University Transition Opportunities Program
-National Association of Black Accountants
-National Council of Negro Women
-Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Sergeant at Arms & Step Master)
- UNCC Legacy
-Two Internships with Carrier (Women’s Empowerment ERG Coordinator & Commodity Management and Sourcing Intern )

…and more! Thank you to all my family, friends, classmates, cheer and line sisters, even strangers who made this journey unforgettable. #foreveraniner 💚 taken in UNC Charlotte by @_kay.flexx

Dear Self,

Since you were young, you always dreamed of being your best. Today, take a moment to be proud of everything you’ve accomplished. Little Kaitlyn — even freshman Kaitlyn — couldn’t have imagined all the blessings God had waiting for you.

I am loved. I am supported. I am not a quitter.
I have learned patience, built confidence, and discovered how to lead — not just by example, but by inspiring others to lead and shine in their own way. I’m far from done, but this is a milestone I refuse to just skip past.

I am transitioning from the young girl I once was into the beautiful, strong woman I’m becoming.

May I continue to grow with grace, humility, and a relentless desire to succeed as I step into my next journey — while trusting the Lord.✝️
