the most belated Numa’s Awards post ever 😅

-

So, I had the huge honor of receiving the Chancellor’s Spirit Award at this year’s Numa’s. Truly, I am so grateful to receive this award and for all the opportunities in leadership I have had this year. As some of you are well aware, I was a part of 9 different RSOs and had leadership positions in 6 of them. While being a part of so many amazing organizations definitely kept me busy, the friendships and experiences I have made through those RSOs positions is what made it worth it. From planning so many different events and working with my team of officers, all the way to getting to meet and work with so many of the staff on campus, these experiences I have gained are irreplaceable. Though, I receive this award individually, I want to acknowledge the amazing RSOs on campus that helped me grow as leader to become deserving of this award:

Cub Camp, Desi Culture Club, Filipino Student Association, Gamma Phi Beta, Hmong Student Association, Japan Club, K-Pop Appreciation & Dance Club, Volleyball Club, and Vietnamese Student Association.

A huge shoutout out to 2023-2024 VSA Officer team for their hard work this past year. Though I am the face of VSA, I would be nothing without my team. Together, we received the awards for Best Event of the Year: Lunar New Year & RSO of the Year! I am so proud of everything we accomplished and know that VSA will always have a special place in my heart.

so this was way too long, but the last thing I will say is make the most of the opportunities you are given and be grateful for every experience you have. Go Lions 🦁💙 taken in University of Arkansas - Fort Smith by @_kboylan
