Today, Heaven gained my best friend. 🤍Deda never missed a milestone in my life. He was always my biggest supporter, whether it was standing at my track meets, taking me on my first hunting trip, going fishing, or simply reminding me that “I could do anything I wanted if I wanted it bad enough.” From the time I was little, he called me his “CEO in training,” and I wanted to be just like him. Since then, he never stopped believing in me. He was the first person I’d call when I achieved my next milestone, and he never failed to put a smile on my face during the hard times.He was tough, strong, and the hardest worker I know, but he also taught me the importance of caring for others, making people laugh, and showing up for the people you love. Some of the best morals and values I have came from him, and I’ll spend the rest of my life grateful for that.I find peace knowing that because of the promise of Heaven, he is in a better place. And even though he’s no longer here physically, I know he’ll always be with me, guiding me and watching over me every step of the way.Thank you for being the best grandpa anyone could ask for.
