I honestly don’t know where to start. The past three months have been some of the hardest in my life. Ever since I broke my shoulder before the tour, I haven’t felt like myself. Missing out on Asia this year was heartbreaking — I missed the most important race of the season, and that crushed me.

After a short break off the bike, I came back hoping things would get better, but it only got worse. I couldn’t finish training sessions. I was dropping out of small community races. It felt like years of hard work were slipping away. At times, I really believed this might be the end of my cycling career.

But I thank God I didn’t give up.

I’m deeply grateful to my coach Abu Saif @a.o.almarri for patiently helping me rebuild. We knew I wouldn’t be at 100% for this race, but we kept moving forward, and in the end, I fought my way to the podium.

Thank you to my uncle, @buosaiba , for constantly checking in on me and my father during this tough time. To Coach @gusevvladimir01 , thank you for pushing me and supporting me through the race. And to my brothers — @1.o0 , a true champ both on and off the bike,
@nikolai_acimovic and @1.61 — thank you for always being there.

Special thanks to my team @adcyclingclub who as well helped me with my physio

This journey reminded me that setbacks aren’t the end — they’re just part of the path forward. taken in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates by @_kh3n
