Christiiiiiiiiine! (they/she) Chef phenom and gifted flavor profile fabricator. We did a really fun shoot with Christine for our winter issue that will come out at the end of the year. Even though Radiance won’t feature the dish that was made in this shoot we really wanted to share a little of the magic and put Christine’s hot self and gorgeous pups on our feed. So here’s some family photos we did for fun as a lil sneak peek. Taken by Al on their Pentax67 with Kodak Gold. Also the concept of this shoot was to feature a dish that is perfect for the Winter season and share the process, recipe, and chef’s musings. The Bulgogi Burger is in honor of her late grandparents; during her last trip to Korea she made them cheeseburgers because that was the thing they craved from America. Meet Christine Kim! The Bulgogi Burger she made is in honor of her late grandparents. During her last trip to Korea she made them cheeseburgers because that was the thing they craved from America. "Keeping ties to my culture and the grief that immigrant kids go through of being so separated from family. Yet food is always the bridge that connects us.” The inspiration behind her burger is that she had Korean flavors but wanted to keep it a no-frills burger. “I love a good tavern burger and I wanted to stay true to the simplicity and nostalgia as much as possible. Frisee for a bit of texture and bitterness, and a kimchi fry sauce that adds a bit of heat and smokiness. The pickles are a Korean banchan and add great texture and acid the burger. Chopped onions because who doesn’t like a good old school coney dog feel?” Get her Bulgogi Burger thru Oct. 31st! $1 of each burger will be donated to @thepostman_seattle D’Vonne Pickett Jr.’s family. #lilwoodyscollabo by @_kimbapi

First full Seattle summer off in over a decade, and 20 photos don’t even begin to cover it 🥲 It’s wild how an unexpected obstacle can turn into the exact reset you needed. Who knew letting go of control would give me space to rest, reconnect with my favorite people, build incredible new friendships, and get into the best shape I’ve been in yet. Summer sabbatical officially ends tomorrow. I’m thankful for this community, old and new, and for the reminder of how much agency we really have. SF Pride 2026: a reminder that my friends are youthful and I am old (and tired). Who would’ve thought a kid from a small town in eastern WA, raised in a religious family, would end up here? I’m living the most authentic version of myself (so far) with the best community around me 🌈. Proud of who I am today, and genuinely excited to keep unpacking it all and find new versions of myself with every chapter. I unexpectedly got laid off last week, and it’s been a whirlwind of emotions. Losing that predictability and being thrown into the unknown is scary, but honestly? I also feel a massive wave of relief. I was miserable in that job but too afraid to leave what felt “safe.” It’s funny how the universe reminds you that you gain control the moment you finally let go. In just a short week of unemployment, I’ve already reconnected with friends, spent quality time with my parents, and can finally tackle my homeowner chore list 😅. If this experience has taught me anything, it’s that what truly grounds you is yourself and the community you build. I feel incredibly blessed to have friends and family who make me realize that no matter what happens, I’ll always land on my feet. I trust that bigger and better things are on its way ✨. What’s next? A much needed break and some time to reconnect with my creative side. Get ready for an annoying amount of food content on IG and some at home mini community pop-ups/pre-orders very soon! Supper Club: Home Chef Edition (with more to come) Some people just have it in the kitchen.
