Monday morning, mid January. This is when I’m slowing down to recap my year. I don’t live on the world’s time. Life doesn’t reset at midnight on December 31st.

Do we really slow down and recap our year, or do we just post pictures and clips from a highlight reel and call that growth?

Sometimes it feels like I’m living in the fast lane, catching over 25 flights a year. It’s not always easy to slow down, see family, or hold every relationship the same way. That’s life. You have to build your own blueprint and move at your own pace.

We don’t count likes or views to measure our worth or earn validation from family or friends. What matters happens off the screen.

Slowing down isn’t falling behind.

As a man, prioritizing your mental health before the day starts is everything. This is a piece of my self-care routine that keeps me grounded, especially working on a boat. Fellas, take a moment to clear your mind before you get moving. It makes all the difference.

5 Grateful’s a day.
