MY PEOPLE WITH #VITILIGO, THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!!!💜

I got the most amazing opportunity to model for my favorite @enticemasinc && debut the most gorgeous costumes for #AtlantaCaribbeanCarnival2026!!!! Not only was I able to represent my people with vitiligo, but I was also asked to model pieces from our own @xoduscarnival in Jamaica!!!! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲What a full circle moment for me. Always a yaardi first! lol.

Scared wasn’t the word. I hide my spots every chance I get. But my goal is to raise awareness and advocacy for people who may look a little different. I was diagnosed with stress-induced vitiligo only two years ago, && my life looks very different now. But what I will never do is allow anything to hold me back or kill my purpose! && I know now that I am a voice for many. I won’t take that for granted ever again. We are beautiful, && vitiligo is not a flaw! Here’s to everyone battling with some form of insecurity. YOU ARE ENOUGH && YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! Also, come play mas with @enticemasinc in May!!!!! This costume in addition to so many more are available very soon !!

@winnieharlow come do ATL carnival with me sis! lol.

More details to come, but this band launch was everything!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

A Rose Is Still A Rose...

I hosted my first Vitiligo Advocacy Event in Atlanta this past March. Follow along as I share my favorite images of the day!

My hope was to offer each attendee impactful photography that would propel their own visual stories and advocacy work.

The secondary mission (as it is with all my sessions) was to equip everyone with a few tools that simplify ‘how to look good in photos’. These are tips that improve your images, no matter who is holding the camera.

One of the most powerful tools we use in our sessions is reframing.

Rather than leave any of yourself behind, we discuss the parts of yourself that you’re most fond of AND the parts you perceive to be flawed.

And into this space...we pour love:

Of the six beautiful souls who chose to join me, Kris @everything_kris has only had Vitiligo for the last few years, making her the youngest of the tribe. If you’ve met her, you already know that to be in her presence is like being kissed by the sun. Her smile lights up the whole room and adjusting to life with Vitiligo hasn’t changed that!

But her Vitiligo had recently become more visible on her hands and feet and for the first time, she was beginning to feel shy about them.

So, we took the area she was most sensitive about... and reframed it.

Just like Kris, I want you to see there is beauty in every part of you.

More amazing images to come!!
